Matt King Photography is your Hometown Photographer, Serving the greater Memphis area full time for over 14 YEARS. Established in “2004”, we are a Christian family owned company who is not only dedicated to capturing beautiful art for our clients but we are also dedicated to serving our Lord Jesus Christ by making disciples and taking the gospel to all nations (Matthew 28:16-20) within the context of the company. Matt and Jennifer have been married for 17 years and have 3 beautiful children, Canaan (15yrs), Hadlee Jane (10yrs) and Asher (9yrs). "I feel very blessed to be in a profession that allows us to share my talent with my children. They get to see first hand what I do for a living. I love meeting new people and I’m so glad God has blessed me with a talent I can share with my customers, teach to my children and use as a tool for sharing Christ with others.

Who do we Photograph?

Matt King Photography loves photographing of all types of clientele but our main focus is High School Seniors, Children and Families. We also like to focus on head shots for modeling, real estate, corporate, business owners, etc.

Where is MKP Located?

We are the leading photographer within the Greater Memphis Area and have had the experience of photographing over 5,000 sessions within 14 years of Business. Our 2300 square foot inside Studio is Located in Downtown Munford,Tn and although Tipton County is our home base we love serving all of Memphis. Studio Location 38 N. Tipton St. Munford, Tn 38058

How Should I Dress?

Creating the perfect photograph takes a small amount of planning. Careful selection of clothing and props are key to creating the best possible photograph. When you come in for your appointment please remember these clothing tips…

• Avoid busy patterns and bright colors

• Keep it Casual. (Suits and dressy clothing do not look as well. Casual clothing looks better)

• Make it about you or your family’s personality.

• Pastels work great.

• For family Photographs make sure that everyone is well coordinated (Example: Pastel top with blue jeans).

• If you are unsure, you are welcome to bring as many clothing changes as you like (there is no additional charge for clothing changes).

How Do I Get Started?

(First) Contact us – Use one of the methods below. Once contacted Matt will do a quick consultation with you, go over any questions you might have and book an appointment for you. Although we do our best to accommodate everyone’s schedule, please keep in mind that our books fill up quickly. Make sure you contact us with plenty of advance notice.

(Second) Your Session – Plan to arrive 15 minutes early. If you need to reschedule please let us know as soon as possible so we can accommodate other clients. We can photograph your High School Senior, Child and or Family inside the studio or at our outside location. We have many options for a variety of looks at both studios, but we recommend our outside location becasue of the size and natural beauty of the outdoors.

(Third) Book a time to view your photographs – We will set up a time for you to come and look at your photographs after you finish your take session. We view all photos on the computer in studio.

(Fourth) Come and Pick up your Photographs – Your photographs should arrive back in studio about 4 to 6 weeks after you look and ordered them. Please remember – Quality takes time.
